With a sigh, he looked up at the dark shadow that had taken over the sky. He continued down the trail for a few hours, and when he came upon a lake he decided to take a break before exhaustion overtook him. Setting the satchel that held his supplies down, he sprawled upon the grass beside the lake, the soft ground cushioning his weary bones. My Rose Celene walked barefoot down the halls of the castle alone today. Her long dark red hair was a tangled mess but she paid it no mind. She walked slowly her right hand sliding along the alabaster stones. It was 4am and she still couldn't sleep. Not even the mice who scurried about the floors were awake. All was silent except for Celene.
